Who we are

LaunchReceipt (launchreceipt.com) is run by Small Ship Labs, the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: support@launchreceipt.com.

What we process and why

• Account. Your email address, a one-time login code (stored only as a hash, valid for 10 minutes) and a session cookie. If you choose Google sign-in, Google tells us your email address and that it is verified; we ask for nothing else. On pages where you sign in we load Google's sign-in script, which Google may use to show you a "Continue as" prompt. Purpose: letting you sign in and manage your listings. Basis: performing our service for you.
• Listings and launch checks. The site URL, name, tagline and description you submit, and the results of our automated check of the public page. Submitted listings are reviewed with the help of an AI model, which receives the listing text and the public text of your homepage. Basis: performing our service; legitimate interest in keeping the directory free of spam and harmful sites.
• Business outreach. When a product launches publicly (for example on Product Hunt's public feed), we may visit the product's own website, respecting robots.txt, and note a generic business contact address published there (such as hello@ or support@; never personal addresses, never bought lists), the product name, the site URL and a country guess from the domain. We may create a free listing for the product from its public information and send one email about it. Basis: legitimate interest in offering a relevant, free service to businesses that have just launched; you can object at any time, and every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link.

How long we keep it

• Outreach records are deleted 90 days after the email was sent (or after we noted the address, if nothing was sent), unless you replied or claimed your listing.
• If you unsubscribe or ask us to stop, we keep only the address, the reason and the date on a do-not-contact list, so that we never email you again.
• Account and listing data are kept while your account or listing exists; ask us and we delete them.

Who processes it for us

• Cloudflare: hosting, database, storage and email forwarding.
• Google: optional sign-in ("Continue with Google").
• Resend: sending login codes and service emails.
• Zoho Mail: sending and receiving outreach emails.
• Moonshot AI (Kimi): AI-assisted review of submitted listings.
• Waffo Pancake (Waffo.com Limited): merchant of record for payments; it processes checkout, card details, taxes, receipts and refunds. We receive your email, the order and the amount, never card details.

These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. We do not sell personal data and do not use advertising or analytics cookies; the only cookie is the sign-in session cookie.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe with the link in any email, reply "remove" to have a listing we created taken down, or write tosupport@launchreceipt.com to access, correct or delete your data, or to object to or restrict its use. We answer within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK, you may also complain to your data protection authority.
