Free launch check for your product page
Paste your URL before launch day. We open the page once and check the 15 things that decide whether search engines can list it, how it looks in search results, and what shows up when someone shares the link.
What the check covers
Can search engines find and list the page?
✓ The page loads properly (HTTP 200)
Redirect chains and error pages (4xx, 5xx) keep a page out of search results and break link checks.
✓ No noindex tag
A leftover staging "noindex" tells Google and Bing to drop the page, whatever links point to it.
✓ robots.txt lets crawlers in
"Disallow: /" for every crawler blocks the whole site.
✓ A sitemap crawlers can find
A sitemap in robots.txt or at /sitemap.xml gets new pages discovered without waiting for links.
✓ A canonical URL
It tells search engines which address is the real one when the page is reachable several ways.
How does it look in search results?
✓ A title under about 60 characters
The title is the headline of your result; longer ones are cut off.
✓ A meta description of 50–160 characters
Often shown as the snippet under the title, and in many link previews.
✓ Exactly one H1
One main heading makes the topic clear to search engines and screen readers.
✓ The page language is declared
The lang attribute puts the page in the right search market and helps screen readers.
✓ A mobile viewport tag
Google indexes the mobile version first; without the tag phones show a zoomed-out desktop page.
How does it look when someone shares the link?
✓ og:title and og:image
They decide whether your link shows a card with an image on X, LinkedIn, Slack and Discord, or a bare URL.
✓ A twitter:card tag
X uses it to choose between a small thumbnail and the large image preview.
✓ A declared favicon
Shown next to your result in Google and in browser tabs.
Can software read what is on the page?
✓ Alt text on every image
What screen readers announce and image search indexes.
✓ JSON-LD structured data
Describes the product (name, category, price) in a form search engines and AI assistants read directly.

Questions
- What does the launch check look at?
- The public page you enter, plus that site's robots.txt and sitemap: 15 checks covering whether search engines can list it, how it looks in search results, link previews and structured data. It does not log in, run scripts or crawl the rest of the site.
- Is it free? Do I need an account?
- Yes, it is free and needs no account. You get a score and a one-line hint for every issue. You can then list the product for free.
- How long does it take?
- A few seconds. We open the page once, announcing ourselves honestly as LaunchReceiptBot, and the report opens straight away.
- What is the fix guide?
- For Fast-track listings, every issue comes with step-by-step fixes: why it matters, a snippet filled in with your own title, URL and description, where it goes in common stacks, and how to verify it.
- My page passes everything. Now what?
- Many launch pages do. The check is a quick way to catch a leftover noindex, a missing share image or a missing sitemap before launch day traffic arrives.
